Home / About
Care built around the person.
A small residential assisted living home in Saint Paul, for older adults who need daily support but still want a life that feels like their own.
Who we are
Small by design.
There is a reason we did not build something bigger. In a house with a few residents, a caregiver notices the things that matter — that someone is quieter than usual, eating less, unsteady today when they were fine yesterday. Those observations are the whole job.
We work to Minnesota's assisted living standards and keep our documentation current. The paperwork exists so the care holds up. The care is the point.
Mission
What we are here to do
Provide attentive, person-centered assisted living that protects dignity and independence — so residents keep doing as much for themselves as they safely can, and get real help with the rest.
Vision
Where we want to get to
To be the home East Side families recommend to each other: known for honest answers, staff who stay, and care that does not change depending on who is on shift.
You cannot notice that someone is quieter than usual from the other end of a corridor.
Why Oasis is one house, not a wing
What we hold to
Four things that show up in the daily work.
Values are easy to print and hard to keep. These are the ones we are willing to be held to, on the difficult days as much as the easy ones.
Compassion
Patience on the difficult days, not only the easy ones. Dementia, grief and pain are part of this work.
Honesty
We tell families the truth about care needs, cost and availability — including when we are not the right place.
Respect
Residents are adults. They get privacy, choices, and a say in their own routine.
Consistency
The same standard of care at three in the morning as at three in the afternoon.
Come and see it before you decide.
Tours take about half an hour. You will meet the staff on duty, see an available room, and get straight answers about cost and care levels.
